We are thankful for a wonderful trip to Tela, Honduras. We gave 10 presentations throughout our time in Honduras (in churches, schools, the city park, a daycare and an orphanage). Following a few of the presentations, local Christians were able to preach the gospel and we handed out a number of tracts. We spent two mornings painting at an elderly home; the residents were grateful for our efforts. Our hosts, Jorge and Jamima Rosa, are lovely people that showed us kindness, generosity, hospitality and humility. We enjoyed a few swimming pools, trips to the beach, and local markets. We are thankful for the safety and good health that the Lord provided to our team members.

The Youth Mission Trip will take place from March 9th - 23rd, 2011. The team will be ministering in Tela, Honduras, a town on the northern coast, hosted by local workers, Jorge and Jamima Rosa. The trip will allow the Youth Mission Team to use their gifts and abilities in a cross-cultural setting, being transformed into Global Christians. Crossing the language barrier will be accomplished through drama and puppet ministry. They will have the privilege of serving the Lord in various contexts: local churches, schools and public meeting places. Small work projects and painting will take place at an elderly home and a discipleship camp.

The Youth Mission Team is comprised of Len & Becky Peake (and their children: Abby, Micah & Hannah), Bruce & Mona Cain, Andrea Robert, Laura Nanni, Nilah Bowles, Christina Meyers and Elizabeth Yule.
